Dr. Suzanne May, AuD

Tinnitus and Hearing expert, with experience at the Department of Veteran Affairs in California.
Dr. May has tinnitus herself and enjoys helping patients learn how to manage tinnitus. For the majority of her career, Dr. May has worked at a major hospital in Sacramento, California. She has presented educational seminars to physicians on hearing loss and tinnitus.
Dr. May joined Treble Health in 2022. She is board certified with the American Board of Audiology with an additional Board Certification in Tinnitus Management. She has also obtained a certificate in Progressive Tinnitus Management from the Department of Veteran Affairs. Dr. May is a fellow of the American academy of Audiology, and she has acted as a Subject Matter Expert for the State of California licensing board.
Dr. Ben Thompson, AuD

Founder of Treble Health, with experience at UCSF Medical Center in San Francisco, California.
Dr. Thompson founded Treble Health (formerly known as Pure Tinnitus) in 2020. He has a popular YouTube channel and has created over 100 educational videos about tinnitus management and hearing health. Outside of work, he enjoys outdoor adventure sports like trail running and surfing.
Dr. Ramsay Poindexter, AuD

Tinnitus and Hearing expert, with experience at UCSF Medical Center in San Francisco, California.
The majority of her career has been spent in private practice in San Mateo, California. She has provided research support in product development, pre-product release testing, and field study services to various hearing device manufacturers and Apple Inc, as well as for safety and efficacy studies for the U.S. Food and Drug Administration.
Dr. Poindexter joined Treble Health in 2021. She is board certified with the American Board of Audiology with an additional board certification in Tinnitus Management from the American Board of Audiology. She is a Fellow and member of the American Academy of Audiology and the California Academy of Audiology. She served on the Board of Directors in elected positions with the California Academy of Audiology from 2014-2019.
Dr. Garrett Thompson, AuD

Dr. Tricia Scaglione, AuD

Dr. Tricia Scaglione is a nationally recognized audiologist with over 15 years of experience helping patients manage tinnitus, hearing loss, and sound sensitivities. She holds a Doctor of Audiology degree from Nova Southeastern University and an MBA in Healthcare Management from Western Governors University. Dr. Scaglione is board-certified by the American Board of Audiology, with additional certifications in Tinnitus Management and Clinical Precepting.
Before joining Treble Health, Dr. Scaglione spent 15 years at the University of Miami Health System, where she served as Director of the Tinnitus and Sound Sensitivities Program, a comprehensive care model she created and implemented. Her work focused on tinnitus, hyperacusis, misophonia, vestibular diagnostics, and evoked potentials. She was also a key leader in clinical education, mentoring future audiologists and doctoral students.
Dr. Scaglione is a Fellow of the American Academy of Audiology, where she currently chairs the Tinnitus Guidelines Statement Committee. She contributes to national care standards as a Subject Matter Expert for the American Practice Standards Organization and for the 2025 Clinical Practice Guideline Review on Tinnitus through the American Academy of Otolaryngology–Head and Neck Surgery. She also holds the Certificate of Clinical Competence in Audiology (CCC-A) through ASHA and is a Distinguished Fellow with the National Academies of Practice.
She is a former Director of the Tinnitus Practitioners Association and currently serves on the Scientific Advisory Committee of the American Tinnitus Association. A published author in both scientific journals and tinnitus textbooks, Dr. Scaglione is recognized as a sought-after speaker for state, national, and international conferences. In addition to her audiologic expertise, she holds advanced training in mind-body medicine through the Center for Mind-Body Medicine, integrating holistic strategies into her patient care.
Outside of work, Dr. Scaglione is an avid traveler and a proud member of the Seven Continents Club. She is passionate about volunteering in both professional and community organizations and even fulfilled a lifelong dream by appearing on Wheel of Fortune!
Dr. Priscila Giler, AuD

Dr. Giler is an Audiologist with over 15 years of experience helping patients of all ages manage hearing loss and tinnitus. Her passion for audiology is deeply personal—she lives with both hearing loss and tinnitus herself, giving her unique insight and empathy when supporting others through similar challenges.
She earned her undergraduate degree from the University of California, Santa Barbara, where she studied with and conducted audiology research alongside Dr. Jeffrey Danhauer, a respected audiologist and scholar. She went on to complete her Doctor of Audiology (Au.D.) at Gallaudet University in Washington, DC, where she received comprehensive clinical training with a strong emphasis on American Sign Language and Deaf culture. As a native Spanish speaker, Dr. Giler is dedicated to providing inclusive and accessible care to diverse patient populations.
Dr. Giler completed her clinical residency at the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF) in 2010, where she trained under Dr. Robert Sweetow, a pioneer in aural rehabilitation and tinnitus management. After several years of clinical work in the Bay Area, she returned to UCSF as a Senior Audiologist, where she was further mentored by Dr. Troy Cascia, Lead Senior Audiologist of the UCSF Tinnitus Clinic.
She is board certified by the American Board of Audiology (ABA) and holds a Certificate Holder in Tinnitus Management (CH-TM) credential. Dr. Giler specializes in evidence-based tinnitus care and is passionate about helping patients reduce the impact of tinnitus on their daily lives. She brings her clinical expertise, personal experience, and compassionate approach to her work at Treble Health.
Outside of audiology, Dr. Giler enjoys dancing, traveling, and spending time with her family. She played the cello for many years and continues to find inspiration through music and the arts.
Dr. Michelle Neidleman Kennedy, AuD
Doctor of Audiology 10+ years of experience
Tinnitus and Hearing expert, with experience at New York University (NYU) Langone Health in New York City.
She later worked at the number one hospital in New Jersey, Hackensack University Medical Center. Michelle has also been a board member of the New Jersey Academy of Audiology for several years.
She is a published author in the American Journal of Audiology, as well as a member of the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association. Outside of work, Michelle enjoys spending time with her family and traveling.
Dr. Breanne Schwartz, AuD

Dr. Schwartz joined Treble Health in 2023. She has board certification Tinnitus Management from the American Board of Audiology. She enjoys working from home with her fiancé and golden retriever and is a big Tampa Bay Lighting fan!
Dr. Diana Vetere, AuD

Dr. Diana Vetere has been providing audiologic care to patients with tinnitus, hyperacusis, and misophonia for ten years. She received her Doctor of Audiology degree from Northwestern University and has undergone specialized Tinnitus Retraining Therapy (TRT) education with Dr. Jastreboff, a world-renowned pioneer in tinnitus research and management.
Dr. Vetere’s clinical experience spans from hospitals to private practice. Dr. Vetere worked at Weill Cornell Medicine, a fast-paced hospital in New York City, where she worked as part of a multi-collaborative team to implement the first tinnitus management program. She then went on to become the successful owner of a tinnitus practice on Long Island. During this time, Dr. Vetere developed and implemented personalized treatment plans for patients suffering from chronic tinnitus, leveraging a combination of TRT, counseling, and auditory therapies to deliver comprehensive care.
Dr. Vetere remains dedicated to delivering optimal audiologic and tinnitus care to her patients. She holds a Board Certification in Tinnitus Management from the American Board of Audiology and is a member of the American Academy of Audiology where she serves on the professional leadership team.
In her spare time, Dr. Vetere enjoys spending time with her family, going on nature walks, and traveling.
Dr. Kristen Barton

Dr. Kristen Barton has a deep passion for helping those with tinnitus and hyperacusis, specializing in providing individualized care rooted in compassion, evidence-based practices, and the latest advancements in tinnitus treatment. Her goal is to support patients in finding relief and regaining control over their lives.
Dr. Barton earned her Doctorate of Audiology from the University of Oklahoma, where she spent much of her graduate training contributing to tinnitus research and gaining hands-on experience in a dedicated tinnitus clinic. She later completed her externship and subsequent five years at a nonprofit clinic in Oklahoma City, where she developed and implemented a comprehensive tinnitus program integrating sound therapy, cognitive behavioral strategies, and tools like Lenire.
Now at Treble Health, she continues to help individuals navigate the challenges of tinnitus and hyperacusis by listening closely, tailoring treatment, and walking with each patient on their unique path toward relief.
Outside of work, she loves spending time with family and staying active—whether it’s cheering on a favorite team or enjoying the outdoors.
